HID Headlights...a nuisance
I was driving home last night and ran across a car with HID headlights along sucat road. For a moment there I was blinded by the high beam emitted by the oncoming vehicle. This isn't the first time this happened to me. On some ocassions, motorcycles with HID blinded me the same way as cars. Frankly speaking, I do believe these things should be banned from the streets as they can really cause accidents. I do not blame those who buy HIDs for wanting to have brighter lights at night but it shouldn't be at the expense of others. I myself have considered acquiring one but was deterred because i now for a fact how any oncoming drivers I come accross at night will feel. So Im not buying for the simply reason that i dont want to inconvenience anyone. We are already in the 21st century and we have survived with halogen lights driving on the streets...i dont see any reason why we need to change the lighting systems in our car. Will it save energy or fuel? i believe not. So why the need to use this headlamp. If your objective is to promote safety on the streets think again because this isnt the solution. To all HID users out there...open your eyes!

Pag-Asa Blunder
Two Fridays ago, October 2, Pag-asa declared Metro Manila under typhoon signal number 2. As a School Administrator running a school in nearby Cavite this was alarming especially if we have to think of the welfare of our children at all times. Because of this, I declare no classes in all levels that day. My concept however of no classes did not include office staff and faculty who still had to report to work because I believe that they are already mature enough to take care of themselves.
Anyway, that day was also a day where we planned many activities in celebration of Halloween. Of course, this had to be postponed to the dismay of many students. We couldn't do anything about it because it was signal no. 2. Unfortunately, what is frustrating is the fact by 9 am in the morning the sun was up and shining over our town. I realized that had i not decided to cancel classes we would not have to go through the problem of thinking of alternative ways to make up for lost time.
I don't know but perhaps pag-asa was just wreaking from the after effects of Ondoy that all storms or typhoons nowadays should be dealt with wariness and anxiety. I do hope that someday they really learn how to predict storms accurately.
The First Time Always Hurts!
I chanced upon this concept of blogging while browsing through sulit philippines were a person was extolling the great opportunity in earning money online through this medium. Well, of course money talked so i was much interested but did not want to go through the numerous articles she wrote about this concept. I wanted to get it over with so the simplest thing I could do was search for the word "blogging" at google and voila! I came to this part of the net. I will not try to defend myself by showing laziness in doing enough research but the reality is I just do not want to spend to much time in this...I have a day job to do like many of you.
After writing my first paragraph i realize that this is something interesting. Its like having an outlet for your thoughts. I do hope I am able to bring something meaningful to this community by coming up with relevant topics. I have never done this before nor have I read real blogs before but i guess there is nothing wrong with what I am doing now.
Well lets hope this works. Screw the money...i just want to blog now!
